The stupidity continues

Wednesday, September 13, 2006 10:29 PM
I gather now you dear reader have seen a news report or two about the Taliban gathering in a cemetary, our Intel folks watching it, waiting for the go-order to kill them. Common sense...tells me...that once I.D.'ed by the Commanders in the theater of operations, the whole group should have gone to met their 'maker'. Only two reasons that a couple of bombs didn't hit this group: reason one - there was an informant(s) inside that group, reason two - our civilian leadership at the top echelons are still incompetent after 8 years of a gigolo President and Adminstration run by liberal leftist, 5 years after 9/11 and an entire Administration that wants to be everyone's friend and not offend anyone. "Rich nations losing ground in education report finds: Angela Charlton(AP): Paris- American and European schoolchildren are losing ground to countries such as China and India that are adapting faster to changing needs and producing more of the high-skilled workers the 21st century demands, a new report says." (I really like the next lines - fuel for Third World USA) "A lack of ambition - Richer nations, especially in Euroe, face a growing lack of ambition among their children, fed partly by social inequality that schools have failed to redress." "Education at a glance" -" an anual study by the Paris-based Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development", is where you dear reader can find this report. Lack of ambition, that says it all. Children of America and Europe since 1960, have been given everything they need to the point that it seems the 'norm' to get all their needs taken care of. That tomorrow, they'll get up, turn on the lights, open the frig, get some milk, go to school, see their friends, etc etc and the next day will be the same. (This thought is applicable to all between ages 6 - 60). War, famine, poverty, are things these kids and adults, catch a glance of on the news. But for the poor countries, those hardships have built a desire for something better than the West takes for granted. Two other big items of stupidy continuing: Rosie O'Donnell's comments on 'The View - Common Sense says the producers should have hired someone else!!! Before passing a law today, Congress wasted time and money yelling at each other and then passing the law anyway.
